Location
Travelers' Rest State Park is located 8 miles south of Missoula in Lolo, Montana. The park is just West the town of Lolo, 1/2 mile west of Highway 93 on Highway 12. (Read about Missoula and Travelers' Rest in Skywest Magazine.)
From Missoula: Take Highway 93 South to Lolo, MT. Turn right (West) on Hwy 12. The park entrance is 1/2 mile up on the left hand side. sign marks the driveway.
From Hamilton, Montana, or Salmon, Idaho: Take Highway 93 North into Lolo. Turn left at Hwy 12. Park is 1/2 mile up on the left hand side.
Park Hours (Day Use Only)
Memorial Day - Labor Day: 8 a.m. - 8 p.m., Daily
Off Season: Mon-Fri, 9 a.m. - 4 p.m., Sat-Sun, 12 p.m. - 4 p.m.
HOLIDAY HOURS: Closed New Years Day, Martin Luther King Day, Presidents Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day
Entrance fee: Montana Residents, Free. Non-Montana Resident, $2.00 per person. Ages 12 and under free. Tour groups, $2.00 per person. (More info on Tour Groups)

Because we are still a developing park with limited parking, it is important for us to know when you are bringing a tour group. Please call 406-273-4253 for information on scheduling your group's visit and arranging payment for entrance fees. Interested in a program for your group?
