The Travelers’ Rest Preservation
and Heritage Association is recognized as the premier provider of quality place-based natural and cultural learning opportunities in Montana. We recruit and support an active vibrant staff and Corps of Volunteers who create multidisciplinary and multi-cultural experiences. We nurture a learning atmosphere that encourages self-discovery and personal research broadening our collective knowledge and growing a cadre of local historical experts.
TRPHA’s on-site staff, volunteers, and partners provide information for the travelling public and present a diverse offering of informal interpretive programs. We conduct on-site and off-site in-depth educational activities and events for organized school groups as well as first time visitors. TRPHA’s solid base of supporters, volunteers, and partners work together to fund, develop, and sustain these varied activities of the organization.
