Thursday January 12th, 4:30pm - 5:30pm: Montana History Day Information Session for Teachers, Parents, and/or Students
Learn about Montana History Day! Open to 6th -12th Grade Students across the region. This history competitionengages youth in the discovery of the historic, cultural and social experiences of the past. Students conduct original historic research and a presentation of an exhibit, paper or performance. This 1 hour information session will review: What is History Day? How can I or a student I know participate? And other details. Can't make it on the 12th? We will be holding a second information session on Thursday January 19th at the History Museum at Fort Missoula, 4:30pm.
Friday February 10th, 6pm - 10pm: Annual Travelers' Rest Preservation & Heritage Association Dinner & Auction

Join TRPHA for an evening of food, fun and fundraising at our annual dinner and auction. Travelers' Rest Preservation & Heritage Association is the non-profit partner of Travelers' Rest State Park, providing interpretive and education programs to K-12 students and summer visitors to the park. We cannot succeed without the continued support of our community, so please come out and enjoy a fun evening while helping to fund a great cause.
Saturday February 25th & Saturday March 10th: Volunteer Training 12:30 - 1: 30 (Immediately following Winter Storytelling Program)
Interested in volunteering with us? These two Saturdays you can find out more about what we do here at the park and how you can be involved. Volunteer positions include: Running our Store & Visitor's Center, Greeting visitors as a Rover on the Trail, Teaching education programs & field trips, & other tasks as needed.
Saturday March 24th: Montana History Day, Regional Competition
